Но в некоторых магазинах все детали имеются на складе. Итог: вы сэкономите от 40% до 30%.В общем это довольно значительная сумма.

Summary: NIce but problem w. 2G upgrade
Comment: I just received my EEE PC 1005PE-White a few days ago after ordering from Amazon and I love it but I also ordered, at Amazon's suggestion, a Crucial 2GB 256Mx64PC2-5300 CT25664AC667 DDR2 200-Pin SODIMM Laptop Memory and ever since I installed the 2G upgrade every time I shut my computer down the fan continues to run and the blue power lights remain on - in other words the computer is not shutting down properly since the upgrade. I just got off the phone with ASUS customer support and all she said was that ASUS does not recommend doing the upgrade - which is totally lame because it's totally advertised as being upgradable. I've read of other people having this problem. I've just sent an email to Crucial to see what they suggest so I'll see if there's a better solution than just going back to 1G. After shutting down the computer the proper way (going to start and hitting the shut down button) I can get it to shut down completely by just pushing the power button, then when I turn the computer back on and shut down again it usually shuts down correctly, but that just isn't right. I agree with all of those who say that ASUS customer service sucks. Too bad because I really like the computer other than this problem so far. Haven't tried skyping yet with the cam, etc. so I'll see if any other bugs turn up as I start using it more.

Comment: I've only had this for a week, but I've been pretty happy. It boots quickly, and has decent battery life, although not 10 hours. For a netbook, the keyboard is a good size. The complaints about the smudges on the case are well-taken.
I'll update this if I have anything more to say that I believe would be helpful.

Comment: I'm sure you've already read a ton of reviews (as I did when I was researching netbooks) so I'll try to make this review valuable:
1. Upgrade to 2gb RAM right away. It's only $40, and I can't imagine what performance is like without it. I'm really satisfied with 2gb RAM speed.
2. Let it completely sleep or hibernate or shut down (wait for lights to go out) before closing the netbook. I was in a hurry before, and when I didn't let it complete it's shutdown ritual, I'd go into checkdisk upon restart/resume. This is not a complaint, just expect it.
3. I've only gotten one blue screen of death in 1 month of daily use. For a PC in its early years, I'll take it.
4. Windows 7 Starter is not as terrible as others write. You can do all the important things. Upgrade if you want to personalize your desktop wallpaper, theme, whatever.
5. Battery life is really good on these machines. My friends with normal PC laptops have to plug in at the coffee shop. I don't.
6. Expect small screen resolution and limited multitasking. Use Firefox or Chrome and this little guy flies. Give one a test drive at the store to see if it suits you.
7. I took it on a trip to NYC, and it was perfect because of its portability and effectiveness. I was able to check email, blog, post photos to flickr with ease. Netbooks are the ultimate traveling machine, and ASUS makes a very good one.

Comment: I am very happy with this netbook. The battery life is great and Windows 7 is so much better than previous Microsoft systems. Boot time is fast. WiFi and built in webcam work great. The only problem I have had was trying to install Linux Ubuntu 9.10 failed but I am sure those bugs will be worked out. That problem is from Ubuntu and not ASUS. My wife and daughter love this netbook and should they talk me into buying them one, I would purchase the exact same model.
